Yahoo has plans of diversifying its business into the browser era with the launch of the Axis browser. Though till now it had supported the versions of I phone along with I pad as well as desktop browsers. In the words of E. Batraski who happens to be the head of products at yahoo the primary purpose of such a model is to eradicate the middle stage in the designing of web. In the normal case one enters their query and the results display and then he has to click on that query. But with this one tends to skip this stage and goes from directly the query to the results. The tedious job of going through a season of links is avoided on all counts. Overall this browser tends to work very well in all situations and provides the perfect launch tool for the company on all counts.
One of the most influencing factors is that the company yahoo in terms of revenue generates close to 2 million each year from the search results. In fact a lot of that money tends to be involved in the second stage of the process. With the Axis browser there are no search results of any time involved. When one types any search what they get majority of the time is a set of horizontal results whereas in some other cases what happens is that a box is displayed on the side of it. It helps us in a lot of ways as the page which we are looking is there and one can click on it. In a normal way one can pull the page from the top to the bottom or to scroll the pages one can also remove the finger in a way so that the pages change automatically.
In the overall scenario one needs to be absolutely clear with what is expected from the search results as all these are integrated into the browser. In general terms the ads will be automatically integrated in the search engines and the mechanism has really won a lot of hearts. In present terms what the Axis browser does is that it drives away the bulk of the traffic of Yahoo from the domain of the search engines. This is all the more concerning that the company finally began to find the space after the slide in the last quarter of the year.
