A Rugged StudyBook from Intel

Intel is the world famous semiconductor manufacturing multinational company of United States of America. Intel is the largest manufacturer of the semiconductor chips in the whole world. Intel Corporation is found in the year 1968. Along with the manufacturing of the semiconductor chips Intel is also very famous for the production of the motherboards, NICs, IC, embedded processors, GPUs and flash memories. Before 1981, it is mainly known for the production of the SRAM and DRAM chips. The widely used X86 microprocessor was invented by the Intel. Intel time to time keeps on manufacturing various electronic products.

Intel has recently manufactured its “StudyBook” tablet which is an addition to their classroom computer series. This latest “StudyBook” is rugged and is basically developed for the students. It is manufactured while aiming the students which help them to study in an efficient and interactive manner. This tablet is powered with the high performance Intel Atom processor with a clock of 1.5GHz.

This “StudyBook” tablet is loaded with a number of unique features including the ultra-rugged design. Intel has claimed about the water and dust resistance of the tablet. It has a number of useful ports which includes a USB port, HDMI port, Micro-SD slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Its ports are covered with a rubber gasket in order to provide the dust and water resistance. Along with the unique features and rugged design, the tablet is specialized with the educational software. It has a7-inch capacitive multi-touch LCD screen which allow the user to run Android or the Microsoft Windows operating system. This tablet also has the facility of WI-FI. It is also provided with a 3G SIM slot and will provide you a battery backup of around 5 to 6 hours. As it is for education purpose, hence it is preloaded with the eBook reader App. It has an internal 1GB memory and it is expandable up to 32GB. This tablet is provide with dual cameras, front cam is of 0.3MP and back cam is 2MP.It also includes a Labcam suite which allows you to attach an external lens to the rear camera of the tablet and allows you to use it as a microscope.

Intel hasn’t set any price for the tablet but according to various technical experts the price would be less than $200. The rugged design is prepared in order to provide toughness to the tablet, which makes it suitable for the use of the children. So in this modern world this wonderful device will provide great scientific experience for the students.
